Each day offers a carefully curated blend of nature, folklore, and excitement — including Santa Claus encounters, snowmobile journeys, and serene Aurora nights.

Day1 – ARRIVAL IN ROVANIEM

Upon arrival in Rovaniemi, you already cross the Arctic Circle - the Arctic Circle crosses the runway of Rovaniemi airport. Here you will meet your guide and then, head to the hotel.

DAY 2 – ARCTIC SNOWMOBILE EXPERIENCE

Day 5 – AURORA NIGHT PICNIC IN THE FOREST

Breakfast buffet. In the evening, meet the local guide in the hotel, and then you will be taken to the lake or riverside away from the distracting city lights. It is possible to do a short hike under the flaming Auroras if lucky and make up a fire on a spot where the sky is open. Around the fireplace, you will hear some stories about Aurora Borealis, both beliefs and facts while the guide prepares a hot berry juice drink and traditional Lappish snack – sausage. The activity will last for 3 hours.

Breakfast buffet to start the day. Today, our tour leader will introduce you to a classic Finnish adventure – the snowmobile safari, one of the most traditional ways to explore Lapland’s wilderness. Ride through snowy forests, sharing a snowmobile between two people. After an exhilarating 1.5 to 2-hour arctic snowmobile experience, you’ll have mastered the skill of navigating the Arctic landscape.

Day 3 - SANTA CLAUS VILLAGE, DOG SLEDDING & AURORA FLOATING

After the breakfast buffet, our tour leader will take you to Santa Claus Village. Here you will meet the real Mr. Santa Claus, cross the Arctic Circle, and receive a certificate to commemorate the experience. After enjoying the magical Christmas atmosphere, you will take part in exciting dog sleddings. In the past, dog sledding with Alaskan/Siberian huskies was a traditional way of transporting goods and people between settlements. Riding on the sled, you will feel the thrill of speed and the connection to history.

After dinner, you will be treated to the unforgettable "Aurora Floating" experience on a frozen lake. Imagine immersing yourself in a frozen lake under the mesmerizing northern lights, letting your mind unwind. This will undoubtedly be one of the most unique and romantic moments of your life. All necessary clothing, floating equipment, hot drinks, and guidance will be provided.

Day 6 - FOREST SKIING ADVENTURE

Different from regular cross-country skiing, forest skis offer a peaceful and silent way of moving in deep snow. Our guide will take you to the area a few kilometers outside the city center, show you how skis and ski poles are used and lead you into the snowy forest. Take an opportunity to observe animal footprints and get to know the Lappish winter nature at its best. In the middle of the trip, we will take a break and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows.

Day 7 - EVENING RIDE & CAMPFIRE UNDER THE STARS

This 3-hour Northern Lights hunting tour by snowmobile will take you deep into the wonderful winter landscape of the Arctic Circle. Your guide will lead you on a unique snowmobile adventure through nature where only the moonlight, stars, and snowmobile light systems light the way. In the middle of the wilderness, you’ll stop and observe the sky. With the lights of the city nowhere to be found, you’ll be amazed at what you can see. The guide will prepare an open fire for you to warm up, enjoy the quietness.

Day 8 - RETURN TO ROVANIEMI

Day 4 – REINDEER SAFARI BY SNOWMOBILE

Breakfast buffet. Today Our tour leader will take you to the reindeer farm by Snowmobile – Snowmobiling might be the most traditional way of transportation on Lapland’s wilderness areas. 2 persons in one snowmobile, you will learn the driving skills in the wildness, experiencing a tradition of reindeer herding. Here you will get the chance to feed the reindeer and watch how charming and wise they are.
