Designed to offer a balanced mix of sightseeing, nature, and unique cultural experiences, the itinerary features scenic train rides, Viking history, wildlife safaris, and immersive city tours.

DAY 1 – ARRIVAL IN BERGEN

Arrival in the city of Bergen, known as the gateway to the Norwegian fjords. Guests are welcomed at the airport by the tour leader and transferred to a centrally located hotel. Free time to relax or explore the charming waterfront and Bryggen district.

DAY 5 – GEIRANGERFJORD AND ÅLESUND

Day onboard. Today the cruise will pass two important attractions: the Geiranger Fjord, with its imposing stone walls and waterfalls, and secondly the city of Alesund, built on several islands and famous for its Art Nouveau architecture. Night on board.

DAY 2 – SOGNEFJORD CRUISE AND FLÅM VIKING VILLAGE

Early morning embarkation on a spectacular cruise along the Sognefjord, Norway’s longest fjord. Arrive around noon in the picturesque village of Flåm and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, a short bus ride brings guests to Gudvangen for a visit to the immersive Viking Village, an open-air museum where the Viking Age comes to life. Transfers to and from Flåm included.

DAY 6 – TRONDHEIM CITY TOUR AND CATHEDRAL VISIT

Breakfast on board, arrival in Trondheim in the morning. Transfer to the hotel. Our local guide will pick you up for a panoramic walking sightseeing tour. You will visit the old bridge of the city, Nidelva's riverbank with its typical fishermen's houses painted in vibrant colors, and the central square. During the Trondheim city tour, you will also visit the Gothic-style Nidaros Cathedral. It was built in the Middle Ages and houses the tomb of St. Olaf, making it one of the most important pilgrimage centers for almost 400 years. Afternoon free.

DAY 3 – FLAM SCENIC TRAIN TO BERGEN VIA MYRDAL

Breakfast. Today you will experience one of the most beautiful scenic trains in Europe. The Flam scenic train (Flåmsbana) takes you in 1 hour from the fjord to Myrdal mountain station, located 867 meters above sea level. The train makes a short stop at the Kjosfossen waterfall, where you can admire the views from the viewpoint. In Myrdal, there will be a connection with the regular-line train that will take you back to Bergen. In the afternoon, you have tickets to go up the Mount Fløien funicular, from where you get great panoramic views of the city and the coast.

DAY 7 – TRAIN TO HJERKINN AND DOVREFJELL HIGHLANDS

Breakfast at the hotel. Early today, you will take a train to the Hjerkinn hamlet, in the heart of Norway, at the feet of the Dovrefjell National Park. This was one of the many stops pilgrims made on the St. Olaf Road 500 years ago. It is also the gateway to the Dovrefjell National Park, a natural environment of the Musk Ox. Upon arrival and after check-in at the hotel, you can hike at your leisure to the Snøhetta viewpoint, from where you can appreciate the magnificence of Norwegian nature. Return to the hotel and accommodation. Transfers are not needed this day, since the hotels are located in front of the train station.

DAY 4 – BERGEN CITY TOUR AND NIGHT CRUISE

DAY 8 – MUSK OX SAFARI AND TRAIN TO OSLO

In the morning, our local guide will pick you up from the hotel lobby for a Bergen walking city tour. You will visit Zacharia's Bryggen and the typical postcard of the houses with colored facades, Maria's church, and the city park, among other things. In the afternoon, transfer in a regular taxi to the harbor to embark on the Havila cruise, which will take you to Trondheim. Accommodation in standard internal cabins.

In the morning, after breakfast, you will go out with a group and a specialized guide for a safari in nature to spot the Musk Ox. This type of ox easily reaches 400kg, has long hair that isolates it from the cold of the Norwegian winter, and small but powerful horns. There is a good chance of seeing reindeer and grouse during the hike. Experienced guides will also give you insight into the animal and plant life in the area. The safari is a moderate hike and requires nothing more than a camera and perhaps a pair of binoculars, as well as clothing and shoes appropriate for the season and weather. Upon returning from the tour, you will take the train to the city of Oslo. Arrival at night and accommodation in a hotel near the train station.
