SCANDINAVIAN DAY TO DAY
ITINERARY

Day 1 -COPENHAGEN

Arrival in Copenhagen, you will meet our tour leader at the airport and will escort you during the entire trip. Transfer to the hotel in the city center.

Day 2 - COPENHAGEN - HELSINGØR - GOTHENBURG

Breakfast buffet. In the morning we will enjoy a city tour in the capital of the land of fairy tales - Copenhagen, watch the changing of guards at Amalienborg Palace and enjoy the breathtaking Nordic views. In the afternoon we will drive to Helsingør in North Zealand and visit Kronborg Castle, known for Shakespeare's play Hamlet. Afterward, we will take the ferry through Øresund to Helsingborg and then drive to Gothenburg, the second biggest city in Sweden.

Day 3 - GOTHENBURG - FJALLBACKA - OSLO

After breakfast, we will participate in a guided tour in Gothenburg and visit the city's main attractions such as the old neighbourhood of Haaga, the Garden Society of Gothenburg (Trädgårdsföreningen) – one of the bestpreserved nineteenth-century parks in Europe, the City Hall and Opera House. Afterwards, we will continue to Marstrand, a small town on the western coastline of Sweden, and then Fjallbacka where you could embrace the cosy atmosphere this town offers to its visitors. Upon arrival in Oslo, in the late afternoon, we will enjoy a city tour including Parliament, Royal Palace, Karl Johan street, and Oslo Cathedral, among others.

Day 4 - OSLO - SOGNEFJORD - AURLANDSFJORD

Today we will start a scenic tour to the longest and deepest fjord of Norway - Sognefjord. After crossing the Hallingdal valley, and the picturesque villages of Gol and Geilo, we will arrive to Flåm & Gudvangen, two idyllic villages that lie in front of the fjord. In the afternoon we will continue on the road towards Voss, and make a short stop to visit Twindefoss Waterfall. Those who prefer could take the optional excursion on the famous Flåm train (Flåmsbana)

Day 5 - BERGEN - HARDANGERFJORD - GEILO

On this day we will be taken to the second-largest city in Norway - Bergen. Upon arrival, we will meet a local guide and walk the city. We will visit the Old Hanseatic Harbor (Bryggen), the Fish Market, and Maria's Church. The funicular to Mt. Fløien (Fløibanen) could be added as an optional activity. In the afternoon we will drive across the Hardanger Bridge to the second biggest fjord - Hardangerfjord and enjoy the amazing view of Vøringsfossen Waterfall. Overnight stay in Geilo.

Day 6 - GEILO - OSLO

After breakfast we will continue our trip to Oslo, upon arrival visit Holmenkollen Ski Jump and, the famous statue park - Vigeland Park, as well as a visit to the Akershus fortress. Tour ending in the afternoon.
