DAY TO DAY
ITINERARY

Day 1 - REYKJAVIK

Arrival in Keflavik Airport, located on Reykjanes Peninsula, approx. 50 km from the capital Reykjavik city. The lastest eruption of volcano in Iceland was on this peninsula. Our tour leader will meet you at the airport and will escort you throughout the tour. Transffering to the hotel located in city center, our tour leader will guide you to see the capital city.

Day 2 - REYKJAVIK - KIRKJUFELL - BORGARNES

After the breakfast buffet, you will board the bus to Kirkjufell, widely regarded as the most photographed mountain in Iceland and featured in several TV dramas. You’ll have the opportunity to walk around Kirkjufell and Kirkjufellsfoss, enjoying the views from various vantage points. Along the way, you will also pass through small fishing villages such as Arnarstapi and visit Djúpalónssandur. At night, you will stay in a hotel located in the small town of Borgarnes.

Day 5 - KING OF YLLÄS, HILL-TOP SNOWMOBILE

Breakfast buffet. Today you will head to Jokulsarlon, a glacial lake in Vatnajökull National Park. Here our tour leader will take you to the Amphibian Boat, to watch the glacier from the closest distance. You will also have the chance to walk on the diamond beach, touch the huge ice from the glacier. After the spectacular sightseeing of Jokulsarlon, you will head to Skaftafell and have overnight in the area.

Day 6 - VIK - REYNISFJARA - SKOGAFOSS - SOUTH COAST

Breakfast buffet. Today you will see Reynisfjara, the black sand beach on the south coast of Iceland. This beach was considered to be one of the ten most beautiful non-tropical beaches in the world. Then you will be guided to Skofafoss, one of Iceland’s biggest and most beautiful waterfalls with an astounding width of 25 meters and a drop of 60 meters. Stay in the small town Hella.

Day 3 - GLUMBÆR - GODAFOSS - AKUREYRI

After the breakfast buffet, you will head to Glaumbær to visit the turf farmhouse, which is believed to have stood on the hill at Glaumbær since the Age of the Settlements (900 AD). In the afternoon, you'll continue to Akureyri, the second largest city in Iceland. Akureyri is a vital port and fishing center, and also a cultural hub in the north of Iceland. After passing through Akureyri, you will reach Godafoss, which is considered one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Iceland. Overnight stay in a hotel in Akureyri city.

Day 7 - GOLDEN CIRCLE - REYKJAVIK

Breakfast Buffet. Visit Seljaland foss, it is special if you see it from the back of the waterfall. Then head to another astonishing waterfall Gullfoss, to start your Golden Circle tour. It’s comprised of three of the most important natural attractions: the UNESCO Heritage Site Thingvellir National Park, the Geysir Geothermal Area, and the Gullfoss Waterfall. In the evening you will head back to the capital and stay in the city center hotel in Reykjavik.

Day 8 - REYKJAVIK

Day 4 - MYVATN - HVERAROND - DIMMUBORGIR - AUSTURLAND

Breakfast Buffet. Transfer to the Airport, according to your booked flights.

Breakfast buffet. Our tour leader will guide you to Mývatn. Different from the Blue Lagoon, Mývatn is more "natural" and "original," with various pools to choose from. You will also visit Hverarönd, unique for its bubbling mud springs and sulfur fumaroles. Your tour leader will also take you to visit Dimmuborgir, the lava field, which is also home to volcanic caves and rock formations. Stay overnight in a hotel in the Austurland area.
