FAROE & ICELAND ITINERARY

Upon landing at Vagar Airport, meet your local guide and board your transport to explore one of the Faroe Islands' most stunning natural sights, Múlafossur Waterfall. Continue with a visit to the picturesque village of Bøur, a small yet historic Faroese settlement with just 65 residents. Admire its traditional grass-roofed houses, nestled against towering mountains, and take in the breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

In the morning, meet your local guide and set off to explore the northeastern village of Gjógv, a beautifully preserved and tranquil settlement nestled between towering mountains. Next, continue to Saksun, a remote hillside village known for its stunning natural surroundings and traditional Faroese charm. The journey then takes you to Kirkjubøur, the southernmost village on Streymoy, offering breathtaking views of Hestur and Koltur to the west and Sandoy to the south. This historic site is a key cultural landmark in the Faroe Islands.

Start the morning with a guided tour of Tórshavn, the capital of the Faroe Islands, accompanied by a local guide and private transportation. Explore Tinganes, the historic old town, where charming turf-roofed wooden houses line the narrow streets of this scenic peninsula. Visit Tórshavn Cathedral, a landmark that has been rebuilt and restored since the 19th century. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure before embarking on an overnight cruise to Iceland with Smyril Line. The departure from Tórshavn pier is scheduled for 14:00, and transportation from the hotel to the pier will be arranged independently.

Today, journey along Iceland’s South Coast, discovering some of its most breathtaking natural wonders. Your first stop is Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, a world-famous shoreline known for its dramatic basalt columns, roaring waves, and volcanic black sand.

In Vík, embark on an unforgettable adventure exploring an ice cave in the Katla area, a unique experience inside the frozen landscapes shaped by the region’s glaciers. Next, head to Dyrhólaey Cliff, a stunning 120-meter-high promontory offering panoramic views of Iceland’s rugged coastline, a historic lighthouse, and diverse birdlife.

Continue your journey with visits to two of Iceland’s most iconic waterfalls—Skógafoss, a powerful cascade that plunges 60 meters, and Seljalandsfoss, a unique waterfall where you can walk behind the curtain of water. End the day with dinner at the hotel.

Today, experience Iceland’s most famous tour—the Golden Circle, a must-see route showcasing three of the country's most spectacular natural wonders. Visit the breathtaking Gullfoss Waterfall, where glacial waters cascade down two dramatic tiers. Explore the Geysir Geothermal Area, home to Strokkur, a powerful geyser that erupts every few minutes. Then, walk through Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet, offering stunning landscapes and deep historical significance.

In the afternoon, unwind at the Blue Lagoon, one of Iceland’s most iconic geothermal spas. Enjoy the warm, mineral-rich waters and spend the rest of the day relaxing in this unique volcanic setting.

At 09:00, arrive in Seyðisfjörður, Iceland, where you will meet your tour escort and board a long-distance coach to Reykjavik. Before departing, take a short photo stop in the picturesque village of Seyðisfjörður, known for its colorful houses and scenic fjord views. Continue the journey to Höfn, where you’ll enjoy lunch before the opportunity to explore Vatnajökull National Park on an exhilarating snowmobile adventure.

In the afternoon, embark on a glacier lagoon boat tour in Jökulsárlón, where massive icebergs float in the stunning blue waters. Then, visit Diamond Beach, a striking black sand shoreline dotted with glistening ice fragments from the nearby glacier. Conclude the day with dinner at the hotel.

Start your morning exploring Iceland’s west coast with a tour escort and private transportation. Discover the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, recognized by CNN in 2017 as one of the 17 Must-Visit Destinations. Enjoy breathtaking views of Kirkjufell, Iceland’s most photographed mountain, and the dramatic coastal cliffs of Arnarstapi, known for their striking rock formations and ocean views.

In the afternoon, return to Reykjavik for a city tour with a local guide, visiting some of the capital’s most iconic landmarks.
